Riot. First of all, THANK YOU for coming out to all our gigs and supporting not only us, Jameson's Revenge, but spending all your hard earned cash and coming out to hear LIVE MUSIC.
We are so lucky to have people come out to hear us when times are as hard as they are right now. The support of listeners is such an important part of a gig- it sounds very corny to say this but a gig without a crowd isn't a gig. You, the listener are as much a part of every gig as we are. WE LOVE PLAYING FOR YOU.
I was speaking to a very talented fiddling friend in Ireland in March this year and asked him if he had many gigs lined up for the "High Holy Season" (March) and he informed me that "some of the lads MIGHT be getting together for a few tunes on St. Patrick's Day" and that was it.
The home of the music we love and play is in a serious recession right now- so much so that the keepers of the tradition are losing one of their greatest assets-LIVE MUSIC.
It's an honour to be able to come out with our instruments and tunes to perform for you. And we appreciate very bit of it and hope to continue with each and every one of you KEEPING MUSIC LIVE.
Thanks.
John
